Golda Gardner Hiatt
Golda Gardner Hiatt, 78, Stuart, Fla., formerly of greenwood died Wednesday in Stuart. Services will be at 1 p.m. today in Aycock Funeral Home, Stuart. She was born in Scott County and had lived in Greenwood for 58 years. She was the widow of John Henry Hiatt. Survivors: sisters, Olive Goodpasture, Vera Lynch and Lois Tolbert.

Obituaries
Wilma L. (Sally) Hiatt, 79, of La Grande, died Thursday at Mountain Vista
Care Center.
Mrs. Hiatt was born on Oct. 19, 1908 to Jesse and Jennie (Woodell) Gaskill
at Alicel. She was a La Grande High School graduate and a member of the Pi Phi
Sorority at the University of Oregon, Eugene. She married John C. (Jack) Hiatt
at Alicel on Aug 17, 1931. She was a life-long Eastern Oregon resident.
Mrs. Hiatt was a member of the United Methodist Church. She loved hunting,
fishing, and the outdoors.
Survivors include her husband daughter, Carol Ann Farris, La Grande; son,
Douglas Grant Hiatt, Arlington, Va.; sister, LaNita Gaskill, La Grande, six
grandchildren; one great-grandson; and other relatives and friends.
A son, Curtis Gaskill Hiatt, and sister, Lola Hutchison died earlier.
A graveside service for Mrs. Hiatt is planned for 11 a.m Monday at the
Hillcreast Cemetery. Richard G. Hiatt of the La Grande Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-Day Saints will officiate.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer
Society. These can be sent in care of Daniels Valley Funeral Chapel, 1502
Seventh St.
